Boscastle Blowhole

The editorial team of the Boscastle Blowhole have decided to pause publication after 30 years of print.

Over these years and having just produced its 120th edition, a devoted team behind an astute editor and compiler have produced a quarterly magazine for distribution free of charge to the residents of the village of Boscastle. Surplus copies have been sold to recoup expenditure.

However, times have changed and more of the same might not necessarily be sustainable for the future. Boscastle is a thriving village and while the team have reached out to the community for new volunteers to support them, to date we have not had any person come forward to take on the hard task of editing and compiling.

Rest assured this decision has not been taken lightly and was made even harder following positive feedback from those who love reading it. The team have agreed to pause publication for up to two years until such time a credible team can take things forward. The team will post any update here and in village noticeboards in the coming months.
